Spring is just around the corner, and temperatures are starting to heat up around the country, making it the perfect time to start planning your family’s spring vacation. Between museums, indoor water parks, professional sports and more there is certainly something for everyone. Here we look at some of the top attractions to see while in Ohio.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Located in Cleveland, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a must see for the rocker of the family. Currently undergoing some renovations, this Cleveland staple will be ready to rock even more come summer; however, don’t let these renovations stop you from visiting. Some of the can’t miss highlights and exhibits include “The British Invasion,” “Cities and Sounds,” “Girls to the Front,” and “Mellencamp.”

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Who could pass up a night at the ball field? While still in Cleveland, make sure you stop at Progressive Field to enjoy peanuts and cracker jacks at a Cleveland Indians baseball game. Some Spring opponents include the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, and Tampa Bay Rays.

If you prefer to see a National League game, head to Cincinnati to catch a Reds game at the Great American Ballpark. While here, make sure to see the Red to Bronze exhibit or take a Clubhouse tour. If you are lucky enough, go to Opening Day against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 3rd.

Bring Summer Inside

If you and your family love the water, why not visit the best indoor water park in Ohio? Located in Sandusky, there is an 84-degree indoor water park that will satisfy all the little fishes in your family. Even away from the water, there is still fun to be had! Head to the arcade to see who can score big and earn the most tickets or wind down for the evening with delicious food at one of the many restaurants located on site.

These are just a few of the exciting attractions and activities you can experience this Spring in Ohio. If you have visited Ohio in the Spring, what do you recommend?
